Cultural Bath House

The Cultural Bath House was designed in collaboration with Steven Park. The design proposal includes a subterranean bathhouse which is intended to be an underground experience with key moments that open up to the sky and channel natural light into the stone-clad interior spaces. The architecture of the design includes atmospheric qualities that unify various discrete zones and functions. The unifying spatial experience is connected through a series of corridors that guide visitors to skylight features which are integrated into major bathhouse spaces and the main public courtyard.
