New York, New York
Typology: Mixed-Use, Hotel
Status: Design Proposal
This mixed-use tower, seamlessly blending hotel and residential spaces, offers an inviting and vibrant vertical community. The architectural design expresses a sophisticated rhythm with its thoughtfully articulated facade. Vertical fins and staggered geometries bring depth and character to the building, creating a sense of movement and refinement as the eye travels up its height. The alternating materials of sleek glass and warm wood-toned panels provide a balanced aesthetic, making the building feel both modern and welcoming.
One of the tower’s most captivating features is the series of wraparound balconies and terraces that extend from each floor. These terraces, which appear as continuous ribbons around the structure, provide private outdoor spaces for residents and guests alike. More than just visual elements, these balconies offer a place of refuge—a moment to step outside, take a breath, and enjoy the city from a fresh perspective. The thoughtfully landscaped greenery on the terraces introduces a touch of nature, softening the urban facade and creating a refreshing, peaceful atmosphere.
Stepping into the lobby, guests and residents are greeted with an environment that balances elegance and warmth. High ceilings and expansive glazing flood the space with natural light, giving it a sense of openness and grandeur. The decor combines organic shapes with rich materials in warm tones, creating a comfortable yet luxurious ambiance. This lobby isn’t just a passage; it’s a place to pause, gather, and feel at home.
In the sky restaurant, with its floor-to-ceiling windows and breathtaking views, the experience becomes even more immersive. The design here balances modern elegance with thoughtful details, offering spaces for intimate gatherings or quiet reflection. The curated greenery and stylish furnishings make the restaurant feel alive and inviting, while carefully crafted lighting adds a touch of sophistication. It’s a place that not only offers a meal but a moment of respite and connection, high above the city.
This building isn’t just an architectural statement; it’s a carefully crafted environment that encourages people to pause, connect, and feel a sense of belonging in the heart of the city.
